Background Note: In the mid-2000s, Rob Clower contacted the Grinnell Area Arts Council to arrange for the affiliation of Turlach Ur with GAAC under a fiscal agency agreement. Clinics commenced in 2007, and the first of several Annual Fall Dinners was held in 2008. In addition to performances, the group has held benefit concerts in 2011 (Japan Relief) and 2015 (Nepal). In 2016 the band traveled to Scotland to participate in the World Pipe Band Championships.
The collection consists primarily of news articles and publicity materials originally included in the GAAC collection.
