Background Note: In 1916 F.E. Wetherell, Des Moines, was asked to draw up plans for the Hermon Masonic Lodge temple. On February 9, 1917, bids were let for the construction of a reinforced concrete 3-story building with C.W.Ennis as general contractor. The cornerstone was laid in July 1917 and the first meeting held there in March 1918.
Container List: The collection consists of the original plans and copies stored in the flat file, with a digital version on CD in an envelope in the drawer (FF.6).
