Background Note: William M. Kaloupek was born in Elberon, Iowa, in 1892 and moved to Grinnell with his wife and children in 1926. He was known as a pioneer independent oil jobber and in 1929 built the first complete service station in Grinnell. The collection consists of a letter and certificates of award for service during World War II. A complete obituary is included with the collection.
