Spaulding home at 1103 Main Street was constructed between 1905 and 1907 from plans drawn up by architects Hallett & Rawson, Des Moines and was constructed at a cost of $15,000. The plans have been conserved and encapsulated by the University of Iowa and are stored in the flat file.
