Background Note: The Ricker House Chronicles were composed by Daniel Kaiser as a result of his research on the family of B.J. and Mabel Ricker, Ricker’s business endeavors in Grinnell and the construction of Ricker House, which had been designed by architect Walter Burley Griffin. They document various aspects of Ricker’s life and the city of Grinnell during the period in which he resided here.
The pieces were shared publicly on a blog. This collection contains copies of each article and Dan's research material.
