Background Note: The Razelle Club was founded in November 1921 by several members of the Grinnell Women’s Club who wanted a smaller and more socially-oriented organization. Membership was originally limited to 9 but later expanded to 15 and then 18. Meetings were held on the 3rd Thursday of the month. In addition to social activities, members entertained occasional speakers and donated funds and services to charitable organizations in the county.
