Background Note: Doris Losey Krumm, the daughter of George C. and Anna Marie Losey, was born in Fargo, Oklahoma, on 9/15/08. After moving to Grinnell, she attended Grinnell High School and Iowa Methodist School of Nursing. She was married to Paul Krumm on 9/6/42, and they resided and farmed in the Newburg area. The Krumms had two children, Karen Weaver and Paul Krumm, the donor of the collection. She died on 1/29/81. (Grinnell Herald Register – 2/2/81)
