Four scrapbooks from members of the Lowrey family. Several of the sisters of the family all attended Grinnell College, and the family ran the Lowrey Club, a place for male students to eat prior to the building of the men's dormitories.

The scrapbooks were compiled and belonged to the members of the Lowrey family, who moved from Vinton, Iowa, to Grinnell, Iowa in the early 1900s. The scrapbooks of photos were passed down to Phil and Dorothy Palmer. Phil is the daughter of Jean Lowrey Palmer '19; his wife Dorothy is a member of the class of 1961.

The scrapbooks were donated to Special Collections and Archives in the summer of 2022 by Phil and Dorothy Palmer '61.
