Douglas Klein (Class of 1970) Collection of Grinnell College Memorabilia
Douglas Klein Papers contain various school publications, mostly from the years 1964-1970. The publications include the NOUS Literary Review, the Alumni S&B, misc. programs and directories, the High and Mighty, the Militant, the Second Battle of Chicago, various political flyers, the Grinnell Reporter, the Montage, and the Ptero. Besides the publications, the Douglas Klein Papers include calendars, student handbooks and the Grinnell Phi Betta Kappa directory, as well as "The Past of Our College" (1895) and the 1892 cyclone. They also contain the seminar notes "Ecology on Economics," as well as the first two draft's of Klein's Calculus textbook.

This collection contains photographic negatives from 18 rolls of film taken during the Grinnell College Study Tour to the USSR in December of 1983 and January of 1984.

George F. Pinne Autograph Collection
The collection includes letters and official documents, some loose, some in binders with the author’s name imprinted in gold on the cover. Also included are invoices and correspondence from vendors: The Scribner Book Store (New York), Dawsons of Pall Mall (London), Documents and Autographs Ltd. (London).
The earliest letters are from Samuel Pepys (1673/4) and the Earl of Spencer (1684). The majority of the documents are from the 19th and early 20th centuries. Included are letters from British statesmen (Disraeli and Gladstone), Queen Victoria, and a variety of famous American and British persons such as Charles Darwin, Charles Dickens, Rockwell Kent, Auguste Rodin, and Teddy Roosevelt.
Included with the collection is a partial inventory of the items in the collection created when the collection was received.
Pinne, George F. (1889-1965)
Ann Cromer Goplerud was born on June 27, 1918, in Osage, Iowa. She graduated from Grinnell College in 1939 with a Bachelor of Music. She taught music before joining the Red Cross during World War II. She served in the Red Cross Club and in her spare time she sang at hospitals and to troops waiting to move out. She became incredibly popular and earned the name "Ann of Iowa." She also served in the American Red Cross during the Korean War. She spent twenty years working for the State Department Agency in Washington D.C. She died on October 12, 1999, and is buried in Osage, Iowa.

These boxes contain materials relating to the Class of 1955, primarily collected by the class agents. There are numerous pictures, postcards, posters, and memorabilia from 1951-1955, in addition to reunion materials and two reunion scrapbooks compiled by the class agent Mary Norelius Sanders. Sanders' (nee Norelius) personal student agendas from 1951-1955 are included in the collection. The original accession also included class letters from 1956-2013, which were moved to RG-Alum 3.2 in order to supplement the existing collection of class letters. There are three 1951 NSO pictures in oversize, and one poster.
