Government surplus

College acquisition of government surplus property 1946-1948, primarily from Federal Works Agency and U.S. Office of Education. Consists of correspondence, applications. Papers retained inlcude student union building, 1946; library card catalog; electronic equipment.

Grant Gale Office Papers

Papers were transferred to the college archives from two file drawers in Grant Gale's office in May 1995.  The contents of box 5 were donated by Mark Schneider in January 2002.

Cuts from college films in the Archives, RG-DEV (Change in the Making, Silver Dollar Story, Through Campus Ways, Today's College Student, admissions film), as well as from George Cushman's 1929 film of campus activities. Adam made this video 1995-1995 as an offshoot of his research for David Buck in producing Grinnell Stories.
