Consists of copies of correspondence of Jim Tederman, Dean of Student Affairs from 1977-1988. Subjects relate to student housing and residential life, personnel matters, student behavior, the Health Center, Presidential Hearing Board, Commencement, Student Government Association, and incoming students. Other files have information regarding Black students on the Grinnell campus (Black Cluster System, Concerned Black Students) and include lists of Black and international students.
Academic Advising Office files
Consists of historical papers about the College's tutorial program and the details of tutorials from 1986-1997. Also included is background material about academic advising for the 1977 and 1988 NCA self-studies, information about the Academic Advising Conferences sponsored by Grinnell College, and files on the Multicultural Task Force. RG-AL Ser. 1.4 contains additional materials on the Multicultural Task Force.
