Laura E. Frith was a member of the class of 1915. She died in 1987.

Lenabel Body Courtney was interviewed by her grandson, J. Courtney Wilson, in January, February, August and December 1977. The collection consists of 15 cassette tapes and transcripts of approximately 230 typed pages, the transcript for each tape having an index of topics discussed.

The collection contains “historical manuscripts, notes and correspondence of Professor L.F. Parker in regard to material for his History of Poweshiek County.  Most materials are handwritten, although a few of Parker’s manuscripts are typed.

8 bound volumes containing minutes of the Lewis Society's proceedings, 1 bound volume of treasurer's records, and 1 volume containing six issues of the Argo, a publication released by the society during a three-month period in 1892.

Consists primariy of letters written by Lillian Mattison to her family during her senior year at Grinnell College, alumni materials, and a photograph album.

Berry’s addresses and sermons from 1888-1898, a few sermons from his time in Chicago in 1900, as well as his European letters form 1883 and two pamphlets, one regarding a writer named Maurice Hewlett, and the other pertaining to the Music Students’ Club Extension at Grinnell College.

Louis Hartson received his bachelor’s degree from Iowa College in 1908 and returned to teach psychology from 1911-23.  Between the years 1973 and 1976, he recorded his memories of those years and of the following 19 years at Oberlin College.  These memoirs as well as several personal letters are held in this collection.

The collection includes notes taken by Noun as she researched her book:  correspondence, clippings, and photocopies from various sources; other background material; and negatives of photographs for the book.

Consists of 1973 faculty Christmas letter sent by the Alumni Office and 27 responses received by Liberman. Most comment on the May 1970 closing of the college.
