Report on housing, 1936-1937; 10 year Report on Operation; Dean Gardner's plan, 1937-1938. Loose papers and correspondence were in the folder, and a report, "Statements covering Quadrangle and dormitory income and expense, 10-year period--1926-1936" (all statistics). Includes correspondence and short treasurer's reports dealing with dorm mortgages, foreclosures, refinancing. Those involved are Phelps, trustees (particularly Kirkpatrick), and insurance companies. 1937 Statistics about dorms and their occupancy, dorm income and expenses.

Transfer Files

As each phase of the building project was completed, files for that project were transferred from the active file to an archival file, to be preserved in case any problems arose. Includes weekly and/or monthly construction reports indicating how the construction proceeded; correspondence dealing with special or typical problems (e.g. laminated ceiling beams, soil borings and drainige); financial and cost summaries. Folder 4 contains papers relating to soil borings; laminated ceiling beams, 1968.
