Background Note: The Grinnell Chapter of the Jaycee Ettes was first organized in 1956. In addition to assisting the Jaycees, at various times the members undertook a variety of civic and social projects, including vision screening in the local schools, providing support for Camp Sunnyside and toys for children in the hospital, furnishing equipment for Grinnell schools, the library, and the Mental Health Center, and assisting needy families. The organization was disbanded when women were accepted in the Jaycee chapter.

The papers in the collection consist primarily of correspondence and documentation for various awards received during the period 1967-1977.
