Background Note: On February 12, 1980, a bond issue was approved by voters in Grinnell to remodel the retired high school/junior high building into a community center. Woodburn & O’Neil, Des Moines architects, were hired to do the design, with Eugene C. O’Neil and Richard J. Harmeyer heading development of plans.
