Background Note:
The Kiwanis Club of Grinnell was organized in 1921. The first meeting was held in the Monroe Hotel on Apri5. The organization was incorporated in 1957.
The club has sponsored projects and activities through programs of education, leadership training, and community service. The members have also sponsored various events, including Kites Over Grinnell and Second Mile. Its annual Pancake Breakfast has raised funds for various entities in the community.
