Trustees, correspondence and reports

Most relate to college finances and bond issues. Papers of note include: study of faculty teaching loads and salaries (ca. 1921); Phelps' appointment as Business Manager, duties of the position (1915); Report of Business Manager (Phelps) to Pres. Main (Sept. 1916); proposals for improving college administrative efficiency (April 6, 1921).

Transfer Files

As each phase of the building project was completed, files for that project were transferred from the active file to an archival file, to be preserved in case any problems arose. Includes weekly and/or monthly construction reports indicating how the construction proceeded; correspondence dealing with special or typical problems (e.g. laminated ceiling beams, soil borings and drainige); financial and cost summaries.
