Trio and Four Sketches for violin, cello, and piano, with an organ part for no. 4.

Organ part not necessary for performance. These were accepted for publication by the Clayton F. Summy Co., Chicago, but Mrs. Scheve refused to allow them to copyright them (through the advice of some shyster Colorady lawyer.) So the matter had to be dropped. They now should be published by the college. Very Beautiful in a lighter vein -- we played them many times. I tried to get Mrs. How and the violin teacher to do them on the Commencement program of Scheve music. Guess they thought they were too small for them. GLP (George L. Pierce) --Also included are Twilight Pictures and Two Lyric Pieces, both for piano.
