Farm records for all college-owned farms from 1947-1969. 18 spiral-bound notebooks. The first 13 notebooks cover the years 1956-1969. Each notebook contains records for one year for all farms and is arranged alphabetically by farm name. Each of the last 5 notebooks contains the records of specific farms, 1947-1969. Farms covered are Benson, Felt, Oelwein, Painter.

Arranged by fund. Incomplete index, ledger pages not numbered. Some finds are recorded in several different places in the ledger. Includes: bank transactions; mortgages; college-owned property; faculty deferred ssalary; Quadrangle deposits and expenses (a large portion of the book); student fees; specific endowment funds; library; administrative expenses and salaries; physical plant expenses; Athletic Dept. expenses.

Types of funds are: Annuity funds (arranged by name); Bills Receivable; Bills Payable; campus buildings (arranged by building name), equipment, and furnishings; endowments; various funds (such as Parker fund, class funds, Macy fund, several library funds, Botanical Garden, Gates lectureship fund, Grinnell-in-China fund). Also entries for endowed funds for lectureships and scholarships. Also real estate accounts, including college-owned farms; Cottage (last account on roll).
