Letters preserved are a selection to indicate exampoes of typical letters, those reflecting problmes fund-fraisers encountered, letters indicating the status of the campaign at a given time or progress on the construction, letters that indicate how the und-raising campaign wa organized. Some of the corrrespondents include: Gershom Hill, Harry Hopkins; S. A. Merrill re: E. H. Taylor as an architect; H. W. Magoun; Jesse Macy; Anne Norris; Merta Matlack.
