Class Letters

Class letters, most prior to 1920, from classmates to the class secretary. Some are the original letters. Most were compiled and edited by the secretary, printed as "annual letters" and distributed in booklet form. In the following list assume the item is in published booklet format unless indicated TLS (typewritten letter signed), ALS (autograph letter signed), ADS (autograph document signed). Class year is in the first column; dates letters written or published are in the second column. Class materials

Since 1949 the Alumni Association has supported the class agent plan, whereby each class receives regular informal newsletters compiled and written by a volunteer class member. Prior to 1949 class officers kept in touch with their classmates, kept address files, and some classes printed class letters (see Series 3.2).
