Laurie and Greg live in California but their son Brian Hauser is general manager, their nephew Chad Hauser is bar manager. Picture of cook Rob Whisenand. Details about the renovations. Offers a grill-your-own restaurant option, which was the premise of the old business. Banquet room available.
Hidden Treasures -- DSM Register reports new opening of Hidden Treasures at 931 West St. being opened by Juli Stanford, former owner of Juli's Health and More Food at the same location.
Kum & Go (enlarged version) -- newspaper clipping of Kum&Go's (West St. and Fifth Avenue) being demolished. Director of Communications says the store needs to "raze and re-build."
La Cabana -- S&B feature, college student's favorite popular restaurant, is opening in Grinnell. Grinnell Chamber of Commerce, president Angela Harrington, are excited for it to open. Mention of new restaurant Las Fajitas as well as Casa Margaritas as competition. Second clipping with picture, owner and manager Willy Almazan is excited to expand. At the location of formerly Grinnell Coffee Company.

Sears -- Sears opening at 105 West St. Suite C, for appliances. Can order online products and have them delivered to store or to home. Wade and Cecelia Thalberg are owners of the new store.
State Street Station Sale -- D.J. Davis buys the bar at Fourth Ave and State Street. He also owns The Bike Ranch in New Sharon (a karaoke and disc jokey business). He is from Montezuma. Details on his new additions to the bar. Newspaper clipping, logo included but no photo.
